Abstract

It presents the day data concerning the pathophysiological mechanisms of thromboembolic disorders in internal medicine, surgery and trauma and the new drugs, moment of their administration and possible effects. The “ancient” prevention methods of thromboembolic complications beside the new therapeutical methods (low molecular weight haparins – LMWH) was re-evaluated.
