Editorial Board

The editorial board of TPCT brings together clinical pharmacologists, toxicologists, pharmacists and clinicians from medical universities and clinical institutes across Romania; international members are being appointed for 2027. Members are appointed by the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Romanian Society of Pharmacology, for renewable three-year terms on the basis of their publication record and editorial experience. Board members advise on journal strategy, handle manuscripts as academic editors, review papers in their fields and propose reviewers and special-issue themes.

Manuscripts by editors and board members

Board members may publish in the journal. Their submissions are handled by another editor, they have no access to the review of their own manuscripts, and the share of articles authored by editors or board members is monitored so that it does not exceed one quarter of the research content in any issue. Such articles carry a published statement of the handling arrangement.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions at TPCT are made by the Editor-in-Chief and the handling editors solely on the basis of scientific merit, relevance to the journal’s scope and compliance with the journal’s ethical policies. The publisher (Editura R.P. SRL), the owning society, advertisers, sponsors and the journal’s technical or media partners have no influence on the selection of reviewers, on editorial decisions or on the content of published articles. Any commercial relationship between an author’s employer and the publisher or its partners must be declared in the competing-interests statement of the article, and such manuscripts are assigned to an editor with no link to the parties involved.
