Open access statement
Therapeutics, Pharmacology and Clinical Toxicology (TPCT) is a fully open-access journal. All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication, without embargo and without registration, and may be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, searched, linked to, crawled for indexing and passed as data to software for any lawful purpose, subject only to the terms of the licence below. This fulfils the definition of open access of the Budapest Open Access Initiative and of the Directory of Open Access Journals. The journal has been fully open access since its relaunch in March 2025, and the complete back archive from 1994 is freely available on this site.
Licensing
Articles published from Volume 24, Issue 4 (December 2026) onwards are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0): users may share and adapt the material for any purpose, including commercially, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the journal, a link to the licence is provided and any changes are indicated. Articles published between March 2025 and September 2026 (Volume 23 and Volume 24, Issues 1–3) were published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC 4.0) and remain under that licence unless their authors agree to relicensing; the licence applicable to each article is stated on its page and in its PDF. The digitised back archive (1994–2018) is made available under CC BY 4.0. Third-party material reproduced in an article may carry different terms, identified in its credit line. Permission is not required for uses already allowed by the applicable licence or by law.
Copyright
Authors retain the copyright of their articles without restriction and grant the journal a non-exclusive licence to publish the article, to identify itself as the original publisher and to distribute and preserve the version of record. Authors also retain the right to reuse their own work in teaching, in theses and in future publications, with citation of the original. A later change of journal policy does not withdraw rights already granted under an existing licence. Copyright in the design, logo and non-article content of this website belongs to the Romanian Society of Pharmacology and Editura R.P. SRL and is not covered by the article licences.
Article charges
TPCT charges no fees of any kind: no submission fee, no article processing charge, no page or colour charges, no charge for withdrawal, and no payment for expedited editorial decisions. Acceptance is based on scientific and editorial assessment, never on an author’s ability to pay. Publication costs are covered by the Romanian Society of Pharmacology and the publisher. Optional purchases of printed issues or print subscriptions are separate from submission and publication; they are not required of authors and do not affect editorial decisions.
Repository and sharing
Authors may deposit the submitted, accepted and published versions of their article in any repository at any time (see Archiving and repository policy).
