Abstract

Chronic fatigue syndrome (SFC), clinical situation who was disputed in 80’s, has now good criteria of definition beside a high prevalence in western stastistics. The high weight of SFC so-called idiopathic – over than 60% – determines the investigation of potencial ethio-pathogenic factors: immunes, endocrines, infectious… Among the infectious factors is counts Coxiella burnetti, causative agent of Q Fever; the implication of this factor in SFC is now a certainty. The importance of this consists in existence of etiological therapy for a subgroup of patients with SFC.
