Abstract

Malaria is one of the most prevalent infections in the world and the leading cause of morbidity in tropical areas. Millions of travelers and workers in malarias areas are at risk of infection and so this disease poses an enormous health problem, both for prevention and for therapy. Plas modium falciparum, the most lethal malaria species, has become resistant to antimalarial drugs in many countries of the world that means that chemoprophylaxis has become more difficult for drugs available.
