Abstract
The authors are reviewing the main aspects about the acute lead poisoning. Refferences about the history and about acute and chronic exposure are presented. important aspects related on toxokinetics and toxodinamy in the lead poisoning are presented too. We insist on the clinical simptmatology and clinical diagnosis of the poisoning, and we present modern data on the treatment of the lead poisoning, especially on chelato-therapy.
