Abstract
The article’s author was the member of the Romanian Field Hospital – UNAVEM III Angola and worked in the hospital’s infectious diseases ward. Hundreds of patients having acute malaria were managed here and an important practical experience has been consequently gained. The author presents the principles of the early diagnosis, pathogenesis and of the treatment. Using the therapeutic regimens described all the patients fully recovered. The principles of the prophylaxis are also stressed.
