Abstract

After clasification of the antistaphylococceal antibiotics there are described two special antistaphylococceal drugs: Phosphomycin and Fusidic acid. Phosphomycin is active on the Meti-sensitive as well as on the Meti-rezistant staphylococci, it inhibits the synthesis of the bacterial wall. lt is recommended in the severe staphylococceal infectious with multi-resistant strains. Fusidic acid is active on the Meti-sensitive as well as on the Meti-rezistant staphylococcoci. lt inhibits the bacterial protein synthesis. lt is recommended in osteoarticular staphylococceal infections, staphylococceal endocarditis and septicemia as well as in staphylococceal infection in mucoviscidotic infants.
