Abstract

Clinic and immunologic response to antiretroviral therapy with efavirenz and indinavir in adults with AIDS

1. Objective: The evaluation of the efficiency of antiretroviral therapy with Efavirenz + lndinavir in adults infected with HIV-1.
2. The study began in June 1999. The results reffer to the clinic and immune response in the time between 01.06.1999 – 31.12.2000.
3. For a better evaluation we followed the clinical and immunological data at the beginning of the study, and each 3 months after. We counted the number of CD4 in all patients and measured the viral load in 6 patients.
