Abstract
Septic shock, a distributive shock, produces alterations in tissue perfusion with reduction of tissues oxygenation , causing cellular and then organ dysfunction. Different interventions to increase oxygen delivery, such as fluid resuscitation, blood transfusion, vasoactive and inotropic agents infusion, can have different effects on regional perfusion. This is an area of controversv about some new therapeutics resources: anticvtokines, NOS-inhibitors and are necessary randomized controlled trials to improve the management of septic shock.
