Abstract
Based on clinical, bacteriological and inflammatory tests criteria we tested the therapeutical effectiveness of Clarithromycine (KLACID) on 125 children, 50 of them (40%) suffering from immunodepresion induced by HIV, in acute bacterial infections (upper and lower respiratory tract infections, scarlet fever, etc.). We found a high therapeutic effectiveness (96,8%) both at normoreactives and immunodepresed children. All cases were bacteriological sterilized and the tolerance and compliance were excellent. Clarithromycine (KLACID) have demonstrated highly therapeutic effects both at normoreactive and immunodepressed children.
