Abstract
Supraventricular tachycardia in infants and children is one of the most frequent diagnosed arrhythmias. Because of its abrupt onset and because of the major hemodinamic consequences SVT is one of the major pediatric emergencies. Specialists that are facing SVT are pediatricians, neonatologists and gynecologists. The present review is one of the most important in Romanian literature of it’s complexity. The authors are presenting current concepts of diagnosis, tratment and natural history of SVT.
