Abstract
We present comparatively the therapeutic actions and the adverse reactions of Nurofen (ibuprofen) against other NSAIDs and analgesics – antipyretics. The article shows the advantages of ibuprofen used in pediatric therapy and in OTC system. Ibuprofen with analgesic – antipyretic action has smaller risk as adverse reactions especially in case of overdose an important aspect in using it in pediatric therapy and in OTC system.
