Abstract
Present data on the treatment of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) are synthesised: general measures, antiviral therapy, hepatic transplantation. The attitude concerning antiviral therapy of CHB is modified nowadays from a short time a-interferon (a-IFN) monotherapy which obtains 40% remissions, to a long time therapy with one or an association of two antiviral drugs (e.g. a-IFN + lamivudine.
