Abstract

Toxoplasma gondii (TG) is a cause to a benign disease, except in immunodeprimated patients whom forms are sever and in pregnant woman who may transmit the infection to their fetus. The acute maternal infection during pregnancy risk to infect the child on 30%. Also, can produce spontaneous abortion, premature birth or in utero death. Today, only 1/3 children with congenital toxoplasmosis are symptomatic at to birth and a few of them have clasic symptoms. Are presented latest modern methods for diagnosis the toxoplasmosis. When the pregnant woman doesn’t want to get lost the pregnancy, it is necessary initiate the treatment. The therapeutical options depend on the author.
