Abstract
The objective of Antiretroviral Therapy is to transform HIV into a chronic, manageable disease. To date it could not be achieved viral eradication. The goal of Antiretroviral Therapy is to achieve viral suppression below undetectable level and to maintain it as long as possible. (HAART) Although actually are in use a number of 13 drugs, the options for treatment are quite a few due to especially cross-resistance, drugs interactions, side events, number of pills, etc. One should individualize therapy referred to the patient.
