Abstract
The Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections, considered as nosocomially infections, represent a public health problem in many countries. This problem can be solved only by a correct typing of MRSA, followed by appropriate therapeutic measures and by an overall politics of hospital hygiene. This paper presents the main aspects of the bacteriological typing and therapy of MRSA infections. The treatement of MRSA infections is difficult, due to its multiresistances to antibiotics. The only antibiotic for which there is no resistance described in MRSA up to this moment is Vancomycin. For the Fosfomycin, the Fusidic acid and the Rifampicin less than 50% of the strains are usually resistant.
