Abstract

A number of 44 patients were endoscopically examined, they presenting subjectif and objectif accuses on the gastro duodenal tract, as a result of some NSAIDs administration (acetilsalicilic acid, diclofenac, pyroxicam, phenilbutazone, indomethacine). At the same time, the patients were tested to emphasize the presence of Helicobacter pylori (HP) by the flash test at urease. It was ascertained that HP is not present at all the patients, but only at 69%. More, at the pylor level, where HP is frequent, no endoscopic lesions were ascertained. One can draw the conclusion that HP doesn’t condition the appearance of gastro-duodenal lesions caused by NSAIDs.
