Abstract
The method consists in mechanical or electrical recording of uterine contractions and fetal heart rate. The cardiotocograph related with clinical surveillance of labor, with parthograms, is essential for labor assessment, for cervical dilatation and for the surveillance of uterine activity (frequency, duration, tonus).
