Abstract
General practitioner – gastroenterologist relationship in chronic pancreatitis diagnosys and therapy Cronic pancreatitis is a cronic inflamation of pancreas, its main cause being alcohol consumption. There are several ethiopathogenic types: calcifying, obstructive, inflamatory. Clinical features are pain, maldigestion, diabetes mellitus. Therapy is based on: medical, surgical, interventional measures. Enzyme substitutes are to be considered for treatment. Diagnosys and treatment is set on by the gastroenterologist and the general practitioner supervises the evolution.
