Abstract
The authors administrated ciprophloxacine (CiprinolK-RKA) on a studied group composed by 52 pacients (15 men and 37 women), in a medium dose of twice 250 mg in 24 hours, adapted upen the level of the renal function. The repartition of the urinary tract infections was uniform (complicated, relapsed and uncomplicated urinary tract infections, chronic and acute pylohephrites). The bacterial spectrum of the urinary tract infections was dominated by Escherichia coli, followed by distance of Klebsiella, Proteus, Enterobacter and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The clinical and bacteriological response was favorable in 51 cases, the sensibility of the urinary pathogens on ciprophloxacine being greater in comparison with others antibiotics tryed. The great therapeutical effi ciency, the scarcity of the adverse effects, recommend ciprophloxacine as a drug of first choice in the management of the urinary tract infections.
