Abstract

Updates and perspectives in child’s sepis Sepsis represents a major problem of sanity be some one of the major emergency, but also the most frequently cause of decease on the worldwide to suckling and child. Sepsis diagnosis to child and especially to new born is difficult by reason of absence of characteristic symp­ toms, but also the existence of forms with fulminating evolution. The treatment must be imperative established in specialized units and require the interdisciplinary participa­ tion (infections specialized doctor, doctor expert intensive therapy, pediatrician, surgeon, doctor of laboratory.Although in last years was registered the progress in anti infection therapy, due to child peculiarities (symp­ tomatology, laboratory values, metabolizer and drugs pharmacokinetics, different from adult), the prognostic of severe sepsis remains reserved. The future studies will have in sight the selection of subjects in terms of group of age and specific infections to improve the therapeutic efficiencies.
