Abstract
Several factors make the deep/systemic mycosis a severe disease: increased frequency in immunocompromised and hospitalised hosts, the poverty of antifungal agents, the difficulty of evaluation of isolates sensibility in vitro. Besides these, is involved more and more multiresistent species; this problem may be limited by knowledge of antifungal resistance mechanisms and pharmacokinetics.
