Abstract
The authors present the particulary case of a one year and 8 months – old girl, which was hospitalised in The Infectious Disease Institute “Prof. Dr. Matei Balș”, Children Department with the suspicion of acute viral hepatitis. The history of this disease, the physical examination ant laboratory data sustain the diagnosis of Kawasaki Disease. The polimorphysm of the disease with exclusive clinic diagnosis lead frequently to errors of diagnosis and inadequate treatment. The authors discuss some aspects regarding differential diagnosis and modern therapy of Kawasaki Disease.
