Abstract
The autors are reviewing their personal experience in the plasmapheresys effect as an acute tricyclic antidepressants poisoning treatment method. The results were very good, even if the ingest amounts were higher that the lethal doses. The parameters studied were clinical and toxicokinetic ones. The results are suggesting that the plasmapheresys is a very efficient treatment method (even if it is a difficult and expensive one) in therapeutical management of severe acute tricyclic andidepressants poisonings.
