Abstract
The last two decades, very important therapeutical progresses were done, and new general drug-administration principles were made in the management of epilepsy.
The treatment must begin with monotherapy and only in case of defeat we have to pass to the bi- or poly-therapy. The treatment must be adapted to the type of the epilepsy attack.
The effective posology will be acquired in the progressive mode and periodically estimated.
The decrease of the dose and the interrupt of the treatment must be done after a few years, in relation with the aspect of the attacks.
