Abstract
A common cause of convulsive coma is due to acute poisonings that usually is subestimated in daily practice. In establishing the etiology of convulsive coma the doctor’s experience in holding history and the physical exam are the most important clues. The recognition of the clinical toxi drome and the rapidly applying of the specific therapeutic measures are the only ones for saving patient’s life.
The aim of this material is to render the physicians about the toxic pathology involved in convulsive coma appearing. Are presented the clinical and the therapeutic characteristics for a few of the toxics that can produce convulsive coma.
