Abstract
Twin pregnacies have a high rise of premature labor. Transvaginal sonography is the best exam for monitoring the patients with high risk of premature birth. Gradual cervical changes precede the onset of labor over several weeks. Must colected data on the cervical lenght, width of the internal os and the anterior angle with a presumed horizontal line in both the supine and upright positions. In twin pregnacies increasing opening of the internal os and shortening of the functional endocervical lenght in a upright position at 25 gestational weeks. We recomanded for treatment: postural rest, tocolitics, cerclage and pessaries. Profilactic cerclage didn’t prove its efficacity.
