Abstract
Viral opportunistic infections have become important causes of morbidity in children with AIDS. Incriminated etiological agents are: cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex virus 1 and 2, varicella zoster virus. There are presented clinical particularities and initial therapy and maintenance therapy of viral opportunistic infections complicating pediatric AIDS, the choice of treatment depending on clinical forms.
