Abstract
The paper presents the therapeutic results of the association between metotrexat and sulphasalazine in a group of 30 patients suffering from severe rhumatoid arthritis which was resistant to remitive monotherapy. The patients were followed at least for 6 months both clinical and biological. The results are favourable. The biologic modifications consist of the decrease of ESR, CAP and alpha -globulins.The association between metotrexat and sulphasalazine may be an alternative in severe cases of rhumatoid arthritis.
