Abstract
The chronical venous insufficiency secondary to the distruction of valvular venous system represents a disease with unfavourable effects, not only locally, but also, in some situation, at distance when there may appear pulmonary embolies. This fact determined the specialists to use different improving means of the local venous circulation both by rehabilitation methods and drug trerapy. The aim of this study was to establish the efficiency of rehabilitation treatment combined with Detralex therapy, in comparison with Detralex therapy alone, in the evolution of the chronical venous insufficiency of the legs. All the parameters studied (sensation of weight in the affected leg, walking pain, nocturnal spasm, circumference of the leg, evolution class) were improved, especially in group A where the patients received a combined therapy. In conclusion , the combined treatment (drug and rehabiiltation) proved to be superior to the singular drug therapy in the evolution of chronical venous insufficiency of the legs.
