Abstract
The fungus etiology of certain diseases a gradually ore frequent reality in medical practice, favourized by excesive use of antibiotics, by numerous inadequate af fections shown by the patient and taken into encesive doze, corticous ,,abuse”, to which we add high incidence of serious affections (neoplasys, HIV infections, diatebes) that need agresive or associated therapy and that can determine a decrease in general rezistance of the body, with the possibility of overdeveloping certain funfus that are petogenically conditioned, such as Candida. Starting from this point we have proposed the study of the frequency of respiratory desease, with Candida ablicans as etiologic agent, as well as the study of its sensitivity to the antifungus present in respiratory infections (faringitys, traheo-bronchitys, bronchitys, pneumonia). We have stutied 3155 biological samples: throat exucate- 2645; spit – 390; traheo-bronchic secretions: 120. From those 322 were positive for Candida ablicans – 10,2%. The highest incidency of Candida ablicans was observed in spit samples (28.2%), followed by traheo-bronchic secretions (17.5%) and on the last place throat exudate, only positive in 4.83% of the cases. As far as the spectrum of sensitivity to antifungus: Candida ablicans was sensitivr to: Clotrimazol (322), Ketoconazol (322); moderately sensitive to Miconazol (128), Econazol (84), Amphotericina B (11) and rezistent to 5-Fluorocytosin – 322. In what Nistanil is concerned, the range of sensitivity of Candida ablicans to this anti fungis varied : sensitive – 238, moderately sensitive – 47, rezistent – 37.
