Abstract
The physical training combined with Lokren therapy with the hypertensive patients which suffered cardiac arrythmias monitorised holter
The purpose of this study is following the effect of physical training combined with Lokren therapy (cardioselective-blocker), with the hypertensive patients who presented cardiac arrhythmia Holter monitorised: atrial premature beats, sinus tachycardia, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, paroxysmal premature beats (Lown 1-111 class). There have been studied two groups of ·patients with high or medium arterial hypertension, and who suffered cardiac arrhythmia monitorised Holter: A-groups including 26 patients of both sexes which were to be !rated for arterial hypertension with different kinds of antihypertensive drugs (angiotensin converting enzyme-inhibitors, calcium channel blockers, diuretics) and which were not put to physical training. 8-group including 24 patients of both sexes which were to be treated for arterial hypertension with Lokren (Betaxolol), 20 mg per day and which were put to moderate physical training for ten weeks. ·sefore and after the study, with both groups of patients have been measured: ECG, Hoter ECG monitoring, beat rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure. At the end of the study there have been established a reduction of cardiac arrhythmia and an increasing of the effort level to which they appear, especially with the patients in group B (not only the number of the patients who suffered arrhythmia decreased but also the frequency of cardiac arrhythmi )- At the same time, there have been established a_mor significant reduction of heart rate and systolic and diastolic blood pressure with the patients in group B.
