Abstract
In the last 20 years it has been shown that AHA can have effective therapeutic and cosmetic qualities in several cutaneous status and diseases like: ichtyosis, acnee, verrucae, keratosis, calosities, scuamae, skin dryness and wrinkles. The objectives of this article are to present basic scientific notions about AHA and their potential utilisations, their limits in treatment of several cutaneous status and diseases and finaly to clarify some notions about the relationship between AHA’s benefic effects and their chemical structure.
