Abstract
After a brief review of adaptative reactions in stress, experimental evidence is presented, concerning the protective cross-reactions induced by repetitive stress. These include neuro-endocrine and metabolic processes influenced by medium intensity repetitive stress and also by intermitent hypoxia, with a focus on their sanogenic relevance.
