Abstract
The paper present current recomandation regarding indication therapeutic approache, possology and toxicity of the main antiherpetic drugs. New and old chimiotherapics are reviewed and compared with Acyclovir, which is considered the standard therapy for herpesvirus infections. It also represent reference for new antiherpetic drugs evaluation. Accent is put on molecules active on CMV.
