Abstract
The meningococcic infections to the child, although have a relative low incidence, are a major problem of public health by season of elevated mortality (10%) and the gravitation of sequels. Meningococcic sepsis requires a supportive treatment (hydro electrolytics and acido-basic equilibration, carefully control of glycemia and a good oxygenation) antimicrobial therapy and corticoids. Due to the gravitation of meningococcic infections is enforced the introduction of antimeningococcic vaccination to the child, even on the conditions of reduced incidences in aside of epidemics.
