Abstract
The problem of addiction to substances of abuse and of the most appropriate therapeutical measures have becomed a priority now-a-days, because of the increased number of cases of pharmacotoxicodependence, especially in young people. This paper intends to be an evaluation of immunotherapy as alternative of treatment for drug abuse, from the view of the most recent studies and experimental data, emphasing the progresses and the limits of the method.
