Abstract
Medical therapy is becoming an increasingly important option for patients with bothersome lower urinary tract symptoms related to benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) who have not developed serious complications. Alfuzosin, a a blockers acts on the dynamic component of obstruction by decreasing the sympathetically controlled ton of prostatic smooth muscle. Our study present the clinical benefit of Alfuzosin in the treatment of the 100 patients with BPH. The results assess the efficacy and safety of this a₁blocker.
