Abstract
Cardiac resyncronisation reprezents the newest treatement in severe heart failure. Classical indications are : class III – IV NYHA, QRS duration >135 ms, left ventricular ejection fraction <35% and echocardiography parameters of atrio-ventricular, intra and inter ventricular desyncronisation.Present studies and clinical trials proved optimisation of cardiac contractile function but also some limits of this therapy focusing on ICD and resyncronisation therapy as prevention of malignant ventricular arrhythmias.
