Abstract
The aim of study is to set forth the results of a complex polichimiotherapic treatment (Vinblastine, Bleomycin, Farmorubicin, Cisplatin along with Cyclophosphamide and Methotrexate) associated with α2b interferon and retinoids such as trans-retinoic acid. The study was performed in Oncology Department, Clinic Hospital No. 1 Craiova, enrolling 5 patients (3 males and 2 females, with age between 45-60 years, all from the rural millieu), diagnosed with Kaposi sarcoma (4 in stage I and 1 in stage II). All the authors have used the ELISA test to detect the anti-HIV antibodies (negative in all cases) and flow-cytometry as wether as the follow up the imun status and of the evolution under the treatment, to determine the relation immunity-cancer. We have pointed out a favorable answer of the lesion in opposite order to is appearance, finnaly dissapeared the initial lesions, didn’t sign the development of other new lesions.
