Abstract
The third paper in this series about cell receptors in biology and pharmacology was designed to present some details about a representative subfamily of the previously discussed G-proteins coupled receptor family. Endothelin receptors are briefly presented, from both, basic and clinical point of view. When possible, mechanisms are schematically depicted in order to offer an as simple as possible picture of a still insufficiently known class of receptors.
