Abstract

The second paper in this series about cell receptors in biology and pharmacology is dedicated to the mechanisms regarding cell signaling through G proteincoupled receptors. There are presented available data concerning the biochemistry and molecular biology of mechanisms through which cell interpret and translate a huge variety of signals for a limited number of cell signaling pathways. When possible, mechanisms are schematically depicted in order to offer an as simple as possible picture of a (often) not easy affordable (to read) literature.
