Abstract
The paper is trying to answer the question “how do we chose the antibiotics for the acute and chronic prostatitis’ treatment?”. From the pharmacological point of view, the prostate belongs to a deep compartment and, in adition. the bacteria are annexed to the glandular epithelium, forming small colonies covered by a biofilm. We analyse the influence of the biofilm, pH, osmolarity, proteine fixing ont he antibiotics’action. A treatment protocol is established.
