Abstract
Antiinfectious therapy in children with kidney disease suffered importants movements in the few past years. For the practician physician in those cases, antiinfectious therapy must search for an important aim: maximum efficiency with a minimal nefrotoxic effect. As we show in our study, lmipenem seems to be proper for cases with kidney disease. On a 20 children lot, the efficacity of this new antibiothic proved to be good in monotherapy, his indication beeing in direct relation with the severity of clinico-biological status.
