Abstract
ln the work are presented two cases of voluntary clonidine poisoning, with good evolution. The most important moments were clinical stabilisation and the certitude laboratory diagnose by using GC/MS. At the same time the authors are presenting the toxodynamic mechanisms of clonidine, the clonidine syndrome and the differential diagnostic. Even being rare, this kind of poisoning is dangerous because of the cardiovascular and neurologic manifestations.
