Abstract
The paper presents an uncommon case of lead poisoning in children: the way of exposure were the inhalatory one (from the combustion of some batteries with lead). The initial simptomatology made serious diagnostic problems (hyposideremic anemy + dark-brown urines + CNS alteration + abdominal pain). The authors presented some theoretical data about the lead poisoning, the severity scale conected with the seric levels of lead, of delta aminolevulinic acid and simptomatology. The authors are reviewing the modern treatment from the severity point of view. The evolution of the case was good.
