Abstract
Fungal infections have become important causes of morbidity and mortality in children with AIDS. A full of agents is incriminated: Candida (albicans, tropicalis, gl abrata), Cryptococcus neoformans, Histoplasma capsulatum, Coccidioides immitis, Malassezia furfur, Aspergillus, Sporothrix schenchii, Trichosporon beigelii, Pneumocystis carinii. There are presented initial therapy and maintenance therapy of fungal infections complicating pediatric AIDS, the choice of treatment depending on clinical forms, monitoring antifungal therapy.
