Abstract
Tetralogy of Fallot is the commonest type of cyanotic congenital heart disease in adults. Without surgical treatment only 3% of patients may survive to their 40s or older. In unoperated patients that survived after 40 years the dates from specialties literature mentioned three situations: the presence of a left ventricular hypertrophy which acts by delaying of shunting from the right to left ventricle or the presence of a hypoplastic pulmonary artery or the development of extracardiac shunts. We report a case of a 43-years-old female with Fallot’s tetralogy from childhood survived till this age without surgi cal correction treatment.
