Abstract
In the first part of the article are defined the notions of toxico-septicshock (ST) and severe septic status. Then there are discussed the main elements of pathophysiology, the stages and the diagnostic criteria of ST. In the last part are presented the putative germs regarding subsequent pahologies and entrance site and also principles of ST treatment.
